About Me

Hi, my name is Julie. I have an English Language and Linguistics degree and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I am also certified in Orton-Gillingham, a method of teaching reading and spelling to students with learning disabilities, especially dyslexia. From six-year-olds to adults, I have experience facilitating learning for many different kinds of students, and I look forward to doing the same for you!

Tutoring Sessions

I meet with each student for an hour twice a week. Most lessons are based on Orton-Gillingham, but they are individualized to meet specific student needs. I am located in Shell Lake, Wisconsin, but I am willing to tutor virtually as well.

I charge $30 a session.
